You can even create shipping labels within our site so you don't have to leave the comfort of your home. We send our customers real-time updates on where we are in the service process; you no longer have to wonder if your reel has even been started.

Inspection
Each reel is thoroughly inspected prior to disassembly.
Step 1
Disassembly
Reels are disassembled completely making sure all aspects of the reel can be brought into view.
Step 2
Parts Review
Review reel for necessary replacement parts. Gain authorization from customer prior to ordering new parts.
Step 3
Cleaning Process
Hand clean all parts. Ultrasonic bath for bearings, gears & small parts.
Step 4
Lube Station
Oil & grease per manufacturer. Gears, bearings, small moving parts.
Step 5
Reassembly
Reassemble reel with any new parts.
Step 6
Final Review
Final review of reel to make sure all parts are working properly. Spin & braking tests performed.

Reels need to be both: 1) delivered to our location and 2) shipped back to you. The shipping that is paid for during checkout is to return the reel(s) to you. We will always return ship the reel to you for a faster turnaround.
Deliver to our location options: 1) you can use our online Shipping Calculator to purchase shipping from the convenience of your home. The Shipping Calculator is located in the menu drop-down under 'Ship To Us'. 2) you can take your reel(s) to any of our drop-off locations.
If you are only purchasing products then this is very much like any other website where you would normally pay for shipping to you.
Yes, the system will create an account for you when you go through the checkout process. You'll receive an email asking to setup your Username and Password. We opted not to have a guest checkout as it can cause issues when trying to get in contact with customers. The data is housed in an ultra-secure site that is only used for your order. You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter to keep in touch with new product updates, maintenance tips, etc.
Please check your Spam mailbox as the confirmation email for account setup might have been flagged depending upon your mail system.
Our online Shipping Calculator is for your convenience and a great tool to ship your reels to our location. We realize many people don't have the time to drop their reel(s) off. Using our Shipping Calculator allows you to create and pay for your labels right from our site. The shipping labels are then emailed to you for printing. We suggest using a spare Amazon box for this to save you on shipping expense.
Note: this is a separate step outside of the purchasing of maintenance services or merchandise.
Fischer Angling™ has been providing fishing reel repair services since 2009. We took a hiatus however to focus on our other careers. Please take a look at our About Us page to learn more about our story.
Fishing reel repair and maintenance is actually somewhat similar to watch repairs. There are many small moving parts that need close attention. If one part is out of alignment or installed incorrectly the reel won't work. We pride ourselves on getting your reel(s) back to you in record time. Many places take months to do this however we try to get reels shipped back to our customers within 10 business days of receipt. Sometimes we'll need to order parts that we don't stock which can hold up the process.
We also limit the amount of reels we take in each week so there isn't a large backlog of reels.
Due to many web email systems being very restrictive there is a chance that our emails will hit your spam folder. We ask that you check your spam folder as this can happen.
We always provide a 10% multiple reel discount. If you have more reels repaired at one time it's much easier on the cost of shipping and we feel it deserves a discount. We also periodically create promotions on our site to highlight services and merchandise.
