The Ardent Reel Butter Lubrication Pack gives you both essential reel lubricants in a single kit — Reel Butter Bearing Lube for bearings and small-bore components, and Reel Butter Oil for levelwind gears, worm shafts, and moving gear surfaces.
What's in the Pack:
Reel Butter Bearing Lube is a precision-thin oil formulated to penetrate bearing cages and reach ball races without flooding the assembly. One drop per bearing is the correct application. Over-lubing a bearing attracts debris, creates drag, and accelerates wear — this formulation gives you the right viscosity to avoid that. Use it on spool-level bearings, levelwind bearings, and any small-bore bearing on baitcasters or spinning reels.
Reel Butter Oil is a heavier formulation designed for components under mechanical load — levelwind gears, worm shafts, pinion gear surfaces, and external pivot points. It has enough body to stay on contact surfaces through a full day of fishing without migrating or washing out in humid conditions. It's also the right product for quick between-trip maintenance after rinsing a saltwater reel.

Bearings and gear surfaces are different applications with different viscosity requirements. Using oil where you need grease, or bearing lube on a gear face, shortens component life. The Lubrication Pack gives you the right product for each application without having to buy separately.
